Yesterday's pensioners’ paradise is today’s upscale luxury splendour. Houses in metros, for long the staple of middle class buyers looking for loans to invest into a flat or even a small independent house, is turning a new leaf.
The burgeoning middle class, which has since then expanded its horizons as well as their wallets, are willing to settle for nothing but the very best, or at any rate, the most expensive. Rising incomes either through booming businesses, trade or simply high-paying jobs, have thrown open a hitherto forbidden territory with virtually no premium on price lines. In fact, the costlier the better.
A bird eye’s view tells the story.
Reputed Pune-based real estate developer Vascon Engineers, has also launched an expensive housing scheme with an investment of Rs 650 crore. “We are developing a super luxury project called Windermere in Koregaon Park,” R Vasudevan, managing director of Vascon Engineers told FC Build. He said the city was maturing rapidly for luxury houses.
