VMF Completes Two Years, A Social Initiative by Vascon Engineers Pune

Mr. Moorthy - Mentor
Vascon Engineers Ltd. the name needs no introduction. This real estate company has been creating magnificent architectural monuments for the last 25 years, in various places like Pune, Changigarh, Hyderabad, Tamilnadu.

This ever expanding success has been coupled with the CSR campaigns the company takes up from time to time.

In 2009-2010, VMF was able to reach out to 14 sites in all in Maharashtra and Goa as against 10 sites in the previous year.

CRECHE : VMF set up 6 new crèches during the last one year and have been able to support 4 more in Maharashtra and Goa with appointment of teachers and providing teaching aids.

To enable the children of construction workers to get uninterrupted education till class 12, VMF started the education sponsorship programme in June 2009. Under this programme, hostel accommodation is provided to the children along with school facilities, so that these children do not have to migrate along with their parents, when they move from one site to another. Eleven children are studying under this programme in its first year.
